To go along with my last post... these are a few photos from Dane's Birthday. I picked the sock monkey theme because I had a some cute photos of him in his Halloween costume. It was a small party with family/cousins, we had a fun day celebrating our little monkey. I can't get over the little onsie/tie! (find yours on Etsy here)
My mom out does herself again with the most perfectly wrapped gift for Dane.
I am planning a first birthday Sock Monkey party for my little guy (the youngest of my three boys!!!) and came across your blog. Where did you order the shirts for the older boys? Everything is beyond adorable!!!

Thanks Anne! the older boys are my nephews and I think their mom got their shirts at Target. Maybe online? Have fun with your party! :)

You did a great job with all the decorations for your son's birthday party! I came across your blog while looking for sock monkey birthday ideas (I am planning my son's 1st birthday) I am going to try the sock monkey cake pops, but was curious how did you set them up on your cake table? Thanks for posting how you made them and all the cute pictures :)

Kayla,I used styrofoam blocks wrapped in tissue paper. You need the blocks when you make them but, don't wrap them until they are done/dry/ready to put out. Have fun with the party!

Hi,
I'm planning my son's first birthday party for next month. I'm also doing sock monkey theme.:) I know this party was last year, but I'm wondering where you got the cupcake toppers with his name, age and the pic of the monkey? Did you make them or buy them somewhere? Also, where did you get the sock monkey party hat in the pic of him with his little blue cake?
Thanks!
