and then there were three...

Liz and Scott were expecting their first child this summer,  and I had the pleasure of photographing Liz with her adorable baby belly.  Then after some patient waiting... they had a baby boy!  Now I get to fast forward and share some of my favorite photos of this beautiful family when they were 2... and now 3.

Beautiful mom-to-be Shannon, and her husband Chris were excpecting a baby.   They wanted to be surprised to find out if they were having a boy or girl.  Thanks to my delayed blogging, we get to find out that they had a baby...

A note on my second pregnancy.  I hope my second born never reads this, but this pregnancy has been so different for me.  I don't mean to say that I have been taking it for granted, because I am SO appreciative that everything has gone well.  But life seems to whiz by and all of the sudden I am due in two weeks and I can't believe how fast it's gone.  Along with that I have done a terrible job of documenting this pregnancy, so when my sister offered to take a few photos of my belly I knew I had to fit it in.   I love that we can freeze these fleeting moments in time forever.  Also taking these photos forced me to slow down for two minutes and focus on this tiny person who is about to change my whole life!
This photo is from when I was pregnant with Dane two years ago.  My belly seems way bigger and I wasn't as far along in that photo.  Maybe I won't have a "tank" baby this time.  Can't wait to find out!!

This beautiful momma-to-be has so much to be excited for!  Having just been pregnant myself, I have a new appreciation for the wonder of the baby belly.  I can't wait to get my hands on (and photograph!) that little baby one day soon!

"Merry New Year!" as my husband likes to say.  I apologize for being a bit MIA lately.  I have been thoroughly enjoying the holidays and taking things a little slower these days.  Mainly because I am expecting my first baby any day now.  Here's a peek at my big belly!  Thanks to my multi-talented sister for these lovely photos.  Stay tuned to find out if it's a boy or a girl, and I'm sure I won't be able to help myself from posting a few photos :)
