I have been looking forward to Theresa and Brett's wedding since their Engagement Session last fall. They could not be a more perfect pair, they even look like they were made for each other. They are both so sweet and lovely I knew their wedding day would be perfection. The rainy weather was part of the story of their wedding day (I'm sure Theresa would have preferred if the power would have not gone out at the hotel in the morning. PS She was amazing cool about the whole thing) but in my opinion it made for a very intimate, and beautiful day. Thank you Theresa and Brett for letting me be a part of your special day!
I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family as they welcome their newest member baby Reese. Big sister Taylor (the sweetest and happiest little girl in the world!) is so proud to show off her new baby.
Ashley and Eric currently live in Florida, but they were in town long enough to hang out with me and take a few photographs. We had a great time exploring the city where they first fell in love. I especially like the (mustache) photo we took outside the Guthrie, that pretty much sums up my sense of humor.
I am excited to share a few photographs from Katie and Luke's gorgeous summer wedding. Everything about the wedding was so thoughtful and elegantly beautiful. The ceremony took place at the Our lady of Grace church in Edina and reception followed at the lovely Minnikahda Club in Minneapolis. One of my favorite parts of the day was when Luke and Katie saw each other for the first time. Lets just say it was emotional and joyful with lots of happy tears. Katie and Luke thank you so much for trusting me to capture all the wonderful moments of your beautiful wedding day!
Katie and Brent became fast friends as soon as I photographed their Engagement Session, and I discovered that they love to laugh. Their wedding was indeed a blast, full of laughter and a few happy tears. Their wedding day began at the historic Minneapolis Depot and the ceremony and reception were held at the amazing Aria in downtown Minneapolis. Katie and Brent, I have so enjoyed knowing you, thank you for making my life brighter. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your fabulous wedding day!
My favorite way to photograph a family is in their home. I believe a home is not only where people are most comfortable, but it is also somewhat of a member of the family. The routines and interactions that a family has in their space, help shape their story. The thing that gets me excited is being able to tell the story of a family, as it is, at that moment in time. I am so happy to share part of this sweet families story.
