I recently had the pleasure of photographing Jessica and Greg's wedding, and it was as elegant and sophisticated as it was warm and fun. Jess looked radiant in her Vera Wang gown and her light-up-a-room smile. Greg was a true gentleman (those Iowa boys), I even caught him taking a photo of her on his phone! The ceremony and reception were held at the Calhoun Beach Club with every gorgeous detail in place. Check out those unique place card holders! Thank you Jess and Greg for trusting me to capture this unforgettable day for you!
Kirsten and Jay were married in Kirsten's hometown of Annandale Minnesota and their reception was held a short drive away in St Cloud. It was the most perfect kind of cherry blossoms blooming, blue skies day in May. Whether they are looking glamorous on their wedding day, hanging by the lake in flip flops, or bundled up for a gopher game, these two are truly made for each other. Jay and Kirsten, thank you for letting be a part of your awesome wedding day!
I am a sucker for little boys, and the cool toys that they play with, and the way that they can be sweet and rough and funny all in the same minute. These two brothers are as sweet as they come, and I loved getting to capture their family just enjoying each other. I especially loved watching them celebrate little Ike's first birthday by eating (smashing) his first Birthday cake.
Ellie and Kyle's were married on a beautiful blue skies and light snow flakes kind of day in March. Their wedding was held at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul which was a perfect setting for the cozy and intimate wedding that they wanted. They are an awesome couple who has so much fun together, they seemed to fully enjoy their wedding day. Ellie and Kyle, thank you for trusting me and letting me be a part of it all!
I had so much fun photographing this sweet family at this exciting time in their lives. They are about to double their family count when their twin baby boys are born very soon! I loved how they were picking out names on the post-it notes (I "bleeped" out the writing on the notes so we didn't share their names too soon!). Their sweet dog Osa was helpful in swaying his parents toward the name he clearly liked best. Although Osa has been an "only child" for a while, he seems ready to welcome his tiny new friends.
I met this awesome couple years ago when they lived in Florida and they were planning their wedding in Minnesota. We set up a time to meet at my studio and talk wedding photography, but I messed up one small detail, I accidentally sent them my home address instead of my studio address. So they showed up at my home (while I was at the studio waiting for them). They were such great sports about it (of course I felt so bad!!) Somehow they stuck with me and I photographed their beautiful wedding soon after. Regardless of our rough start, over the years we have become great friends. Also nine months ago they made a ridiculously cute baby and I was honored to photograph their sweet Isla during their last visit to Minnesota.
