family genes
I am so happy to share this little guy with you! His name is Jackson and I dare you not to smile when you see how cute he is. I guess it's no surprise since he looks so much like his parents, and they have some fortunate family genes!

The Peterson family is one of my favorite families to photograph (not just because they are beautiful and have the most AMAZING blue eyes!) but also because they are so sweet and I have been taking their photos since before their first baby was born. It's so fun to watch families grow together and see how much the kids change.

Betsy and Josh decided to have photos taken of their whole family (Josh's side) and also some of them as a couple. I think it's great to see families having photos taken to capture this specific moment in time, not just when the kids are little. It was a fun way to spend a beautiful warm summer evening in the Minneapolis.

under my umbrella
Trish and Matt live in Chicago but are getting married in Minnesota next month. We took their Engagement photos in Minneapolis and strolled around the StoneArch Festival of the Arts. Although it was a bit rainy, it didn't stop us! Actually it was perfect because Trish got to use the white umbrella from her mom's wedding.

dustin and lindsay's wedding
Dustin and Lindsay are such a sweet couple, I have been looking forward to their wedding since their Engagement Session last November. While the day of their Engagement shoot was cold and gray, the wedding day was the opposite with blue skies and not a cloud in the sky. They were married at Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington and the reception was held their as well. Everything about the day was beautiful, especially Lindsay! Thank you Lindsay and Dustin for letting me share in your special day!

Tim and Debbie had an intimate wedding at the Lyndale Peace and Rock Garden and the reception was held at Create Dining Studio in North East Minneapolis. tim and tara's wedding
Tim and Tara were married on a beautiful June Saturday, made for weddings. The ceremony took place St Paul's Episcopal Church on the Hill on Summit Ave. and the reception was held at the Wabasha Street Caves in St. Paul. I love the vintage flair weaved throughout the day. Jeff and Alicia were a wedding client of mine from a couple of years ago. They have since expanded their family to include their precious new baby Max. It is so fun for me to keep in touch with old clients and such an honor to get to continue photographing their lives.

We took Chris and Tricia's Engagement photos on a warm summer evening in downtown Minneapolis. The MVP of the session was their dog Bernice who was very curious but stuck right by us the whole time. She may have been a little afraid of my camera, but I think she still had a good time. They are such a cute couple, I am excited for their wedding in August.
